The Chemical Spreadsheets and Databases Short Course is designed to be run in a computer lab. Attendees build sample worksheets and database applications using provided data.

There are two broad aims to the six formal session course:

• To give scientists who are familiar with spreadsheets an insight into the power and data security of relational database technology.

• To give attendees a profound understanding of the structure of reaction chemistry through meta-analysis of real chemical information.
